Corey Delta Constructors was founded in 1974 by Gene Waken. Mr. Waken, an alumni of several iconic mechanical/industrial firms, approached the management of the Dow Chemical Company plant in Pittsburg, California, with the concept of providing "open shop" services as a general contractor. A virtually unprecedented concept at that time.

With little more than a deep passion for and a commitment to excellence, we began the very treacherous journey to becoming a successful service provider and viable company.
