EUGENE (GENE) WAKEN

Chair of Board of Directors
Gene Waken founded Corey Delta Constructors in January 1974. He began his career as a junior estimator in Los Angeles in 1965. After moving to the Bay Area in 1969, he served as project manager for several industrial contractors. Gene has been active in the Associated General Contractors (AGC) of America since 1974, serving as chair of several committees and boards, was California's Treasurer in 1992, and Chairman of the (national) Heavy/Industrial Division in 1995.

He is immediate past president of the California Contractors Alliance and is a director of the Western Council of Construction Consumers (WCCC) and several non-profits. He is also past President of the Napa City/County Economic Development Corporation.

TOM SPRAGUE

President and CEO
Tom Sprague began his career with Corey Delta in 1982. He initially started in the field and has held various positions within the company, including Project Manager, General Foreman, and General Superintendent. Tom attended Southern Oregon College.

VINCE HAGHIRI

Chief Financial Officer
Vince has over 30 years of experience in accounting and finance.  He has served in the roles of CEO, COO and Vice President of Finance and Administration, here he has established accounting policies and procedures, enhanced financial reporting, improved productivity and maximized profitability.  Vince has completed graduate studies in international Business/Banking and Finance, and holds a B.S. Degree in Business Administration and Economics from St. Mary's College in California.

JAKE WITKOWSKI

Vice President of Health and Safety
Jake Witkowski began his career with Corey Delta in 1982. He initially started in the field and has held various positions within the company, including Field Superintendent, Field Safety Coordinator, and Quality Control Manager. Jake is also a certified NCCCO Training Director. Jake spends his free time enjoying his love of fishing.

EUGENE (GENE) WAKEN

Chairman of the Board

Gene Waken founded Corey Delta Constructors in January 1974. He is immediate past president of the California Contractors Alliance and is a director of the Western Council of Construction Consumers (WCCC). He is a lifetime director of the Associated General Contractors of America.

He is an alumni of several industrial construction firms performing both public and private projects.

Mr. Waken sits on various non-profit boards of directors and is a long time Rotarian.

CRAIG ANDERSEN

Mr. Andersen is a practicing business and construction attorney in the firm that bears his name, Andersen, Bonnifield and Roscha. As well, he is a licensed general contractor in the state of California.

He is very active in civic and business affairs in Northern California, representing various public and private entities.

JACK FELLER

Mr. Feller is a practicing AAA arbiter, an alternative dispute specialist. He has held the position of CEO in such firms as Fred J. Early Construction Company, Kassler Corporation (now the Washington Group) and served three (3) years as President at Corey Delta Constructors. He was Ex. Vice President of the Blount Company as well as Paul Hardeman Company.

LARRY LAWRENCE

Mr. Lawrence is Vice President of Pipe Sales for Evraz, Inc N.A., a manufacturer of steel products. He was formerly Vice President, General Manager of Napa Pipe Company. Mr. Lawrence has a broad and impressive resume in gas and oil transmission facilities throughout the world.

MICHAEL McGOWAN

Mr. McGowan is President, CEO of M.B. McGowan Insurance Agency, Inc. a provider of surety bonds to the construction industry. His career spans several decades in the construction business.

He is a member of an iconic construction family and has decades of experience in corporate management, boards of directors, insurance and bonding.

BOB MURPHY

Mr. Murphy was formerly Vice President of Sales for Kaiser Cement Company. He remains very active in the building materials industry and assists in Corey Delta's marketing efforts. 

He has an extensive network in the building materials industry, nationally and internationally.
